Facebook is dead to me...and here's why
Category None
OK I don't mind getting invited to take tests, or quizzes etc. What I do detest is the fact that I take the damn tests and then it tells me I need to invite 20 friends to see my score. Well no more I tell you, no more. Facebook Notifications, Facebook test invites, no more please no more.
I notice no one has written the Facebook application "how much do you/will you hate facebook after signing up" yet. I see an opening for that, you just have to invite all your friends to be able to take it.

It was suggested to me that I could simply decide to ignore the spam and continue to enjoy the other benefits of mail/email/Facebook, but that's just crazy talk.

Nothing on there is made for the sake of the users. Every app is mining you for all sorts of data, and no matter what legal disclaimers Facebook uses, nobody notices for a second that 99% of the Facebook Apps aren't made by facebook at all, and aren't subject to any legal limitations.
This "Invite 20 too see your score" is just the setup. It won't be too long until somebody begins USING all the data, and by then, SPAM will seem like a walk in the park.
We're all suckers, really!
